👵💚 Grandma Sita’s tips:
*Fresh raspberries can last between two to three days, place them unwashed in a mason jar and store the jar with the lid in your fridge. Always wash the berries after eating them.
*If you have a lot of raspberries left, make a jam, freeze them in a freezer box or even dehydrate them.
*Remember, raspberries will not ripen after they are picked. Ripe raspberries should be firm, plump, and smooth. The torus remains on the plant when picking them, leaving a hollow core in the raspberry fruit which distinguishes the raspberry from its blackberry relatives.

📗 There is a Greek myth about why the fruit has a red color. It was said that a nymph named Ida was gathering white raspberries for Zeus, and she pricked her finger in the process. Her blood changed the color of the fruit, and that is why raspberries are red.
