Duas Marías, Las Dos Marías (The Two Marías) is the name of a vibrant, eye-catching sculpture by artist César Lombera. It is located at Alameda Park in Santiago de Compostela and is a must-see for anyone visiting the city.

📕This bronze sculpture portrays the couple formed by the sisters, Maruxa and Coralia, iconic figures in the city. Learning about their history as symbols of resilience and individuality made the experience even more meaningful.

👨‍🎨 César Lombera was a Spanish artist with a penchant for Galician personalities sculptures, among others the most important public works of Valle-Inclán, Alfredo Brañas, O Carrabouxo, Tertulia Monument (Literary Circle in Modern Coffee).
