A TRIBUTE
We all started somewhere. This is a tribute to Elena’s beloved Grandmother Rosita from Vigo in Galicia, Northwest Spain. That’s why our name is Grandma Sita, Sita is short for Rosita.
From early on in Elena’s childhood, she spent a lot of time with her grandmother, who taught her about the importance of seasonal eating and the true value of food.
It’s a tribute to our grandmothers because this generation valued their resources and food. Grandmothers hold a special place in our hearts, and their resourcefulness inspires us.
Grandma Sita and her generation have minimized their waste by living a simple and minimalistic life. Now more than ever, their wisdom is super valuable to the world.
